WHAT DOES THE INTRODUCTION COURSE OFFER
The course contains basic information and data necessary for home owners, architects, property developers to gain further knowledge on the basic elements of a GSHP to be able to decide if its suitable for their needs and requirements.
The course assumes no previous knowledge on the subject matter and its meant as an informative tool for individuals entering the industry, wether that’s from a homeowners perspective or a proffesional looking at entering the industry.
The course is simply an introduction into GSHP systems and applications.
WHO SHOULD TAKE INTRODUCTION COURSE
The training course will be of interest to those who seeking basic information out GSHP with little or now previous knowledge, the following individuals will benefit:
- Architects. Gaining further information and knowledge on this green heating and cooling solution will be usefull when specifing property designs, increase your subject matter knowledge and be able to adivise your clietns on this renewable alternative.
- Plumbers. Â If you have heard forGSHP and want to know more about the industry and its basic types and systems.
- Drillers.
- Home owners, find out if a GSHP would suit your needs and requirements. Find out what the benefits are and how it can integrate with your property.

The course will focus primarily on closed loop GSHP systems.
PREVIOUS QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
No previous subject matter is required in order to take this course, it assumes no or little knowledge on the subject; although ideally you will have a technical background.
The introduction training course consists of 35 slides, with images, schematics and narration covering basic geothermal principles:

At the end of the training course a test with 20 questions is presented to the participants with the aim of assessing the level of knowledge acquired during the training course.
